Golden Leaf Farm

A Center for Biodynamic Education and Practice

As one of Bali’s pioneering organic farms, Golden Leaf has evolved into a vital hub for the biodynamic community. We are proud to host workshops and sharing sessions, bringing together like-minded people from across the island and the world to learn and practice together.

Our farm is a living laboratory where the principles of biodynamics come to life. It is here that we collaboratively create the biodynamic preparations (preps) that give life to our soils, guided by experienced mentors and a spirit of shared discovery.

Making the Preparations

We host sessions for making key preparations like BD503 (Chamomile) and BD501 (Horn Silica). Participants learn to handle materials, from fresh and dried chamomile to stuffing the cow horns, before the preps are hung and buried.

Building the Cow Pat Pit

A cornerstone of our practice is the Cow Pat Pit (CPP), which creates a powerful, humus-rich fertilizer. Our community comes together to build the pit and prepare the manure, a fundamental activity for farm fertility.

Volunteer & Learn

We welcome volunteers during our event days. Help with setting up, assist participants like Mrs. Yap, and learn the biodynamic process firsthand.
